Die Auseinandersetzung mit der Kunst und Kunsttheorie Johannes Ittens tritt gegenwärtig in eine neue Epoche: Nach der anfänglichen emphatischen Stilisierung des Ittenbildes und den ideologiekritischen Angriffen unter den Vorzeichen der Postmoderne, beginnt sich die Forschung zu Itten nun auf einer erweiterten Materialgrundlage und mit neuen Fragen zu entfalten. Über die Jahrhundertschwelle hinweg erscheint das Verhältnis von Traditionsbezug und Avantgardeanspruch bei Johannes Itten in veränderten Perspektiven. Die künstlerischen, kunsttheoretischen und kunstpädagogischen Arbeiten Ittens werden auf ihre geistesgeschichtlichen Kontexte und ihre künstlerischen Traditionslinien hin neu befragt. Ein vom Institut für Kunstgeschichte der Universität des Saarlandes in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Saarland Museum und der Johannes-Itten-Stiftung (Bern) veranstaltetes wissenschaftliches Symposium (27.-28.11.2002, Saarland Museum Saarbrücken) unternimmt den Versuch, ein aktuelles Resümee zu ziehen und neue Impulse zu geben. Great Sink Caddy

Great size and you can configure it to accommodate a range of soaps and gadgets. The brush holder can be moved to the outside for more storage area in the main basket. The little divider adjust across the wires and it stays in place. The stone bottom absorbs drips quickly and I haven’t noticed any discoloration on it. It stays in place on the sink edge. Perfect for my organization needs and keeps the area neat vs tossing the brushes on the ledge leaving water marks on the counter. It was packaged well and the coating seems good! I bought a cheaper one and it came bent, with the coating popped off in several places. This one is worth paying a little bit more for the quality!

Wonderful, roomy caddy

I don't usually write reviews, but this is a great product to share. This sink caddy is everything they say it is. The bottom drying stone protects the counter surface from getting wet and sponges, etc. dry in a reasonable amt. of time. I love the basket for tall items like brushes- enough room for two- and the removable partition to use however one wants. I debated getting this longer one, but I am glad I did because it fits quite a bit. I even use the one side with the partition for a spray bottle. It also looks very nice and feels like a quality product. I wasn't sure if the black metal would go well with my beige countertop, but it looks great. I highly recommend it.

This organizer is awesome!

This sink organizer works great! It fits everything I need to fit and works well on my countertop. The diatomaceous earth stone underneath collects all of the water and there is no puddling underneath. I love the divider because I can keep my sponge separate from my bottle of dish soap and brushes… 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend this item!

Go big
Color: Black
I had a very small holder that barely held anything, the I stumbled on this in the small size, which I almost bought because it was a little bigger than what I had. Then I saw this one and I'm glad I bought the larger one because it holds everything! I even bought a glass container for the dish soap. Fits perfectly in the space. I also like the idea of the stone to absorb water instead of it dripping in a tray that runs through a spout into the sink.
