Dans Okko, chaque joueur possède une main de cartes représentant des mouvements, des attaques ou des attaques spéciales sur le champ de bataille. Au début de chaque tour, chaque joueur place deux cartes de sa main face cachée à côté du champ de bataille, après quoi il résout les actions une carte à la fois. Avec les cartes, les joueurs avancent ou reculent par rapport à l'adversaire ou frappent haut ou bas, en essayant de causer des dégâts.

The Iron Age seemed to have its beginning several hundred years earlier than has been officially declared.
