For 2014, the Jumbo On-Seat Booster has been upgraded and re-named Pet Safety Seat. The addition of a crash-tested safety tether, which integrates with the vehicle seat belt system, makes it tops in safety in the booster seat category. The Pet Safety Seat cradles pets in comfort and security as they cruise along. The unique design utilizes Safe-T-Core technology, a system of molded panels that fasten together permanently, creating a lightweight, yet super-strong structure, tested to 175 lbs. Installs securely in one minute in either front or back seat. A roomy, fully padded interior gives pets up to 30 lbs room to relax and is perfect for multiple pets. The inside basket dimensions are 18 inches wide by 14 inches deep at bottom, 19.5 inches wide by 14.5 inches deep at top, and the sides are 8 inches tall. The outside dimensions of the entire unit are 22 inches wide by 17 inches tall by 17 inches deep. The inside floor of the basket is nine inches above the vehicle seat so pets can easily see out while traveling. Unlike foam-based booster seats, the On-Seat Booster will not trap odors ñ cleans easily to stay looking and smelling fresh. Adjustable safety leash included. A summer cooling mat full of endless possibilities! Kitty 🐈⬛ imagination highly required! It’s apparently somewhat better than a large empty Amazon box! Beau highly recommends it!

I purchased the medium sized cooling mat for my chunkster grey tux Beau who at first snoop, didn’t like it. After carefully flopping him on top of it and made stupid sounds, he inevitably decided to actually try it his way thus (while not a box) liked it. I was surprised that after two weeks the mat was still cool and scratch-free from his murder mittens. While he does flop on the mat from time to time, he enjoys dragging it, flipping it in a viscous cycle of who-knows what the heck is going on his mind! Either way, if I could give it 9/10 stars I would as the instructions fails to inform user of a highly kitty imagination is required. No worries tho! Beau figured this out two days into flopping on top of it.

Does not stay cool
I bought this for my bunny and the material itself does feel cool at first. My bunny wast laying on it for about 30- 40 minutes and it feels warm to the touch. So while it does feel cool initially, if your pet is warm the pad will get warm as well. I'd recommend leaving the fan on for your pet in addition to the pad or placing a frozen water bottle on the pad so it keeps the pad cool a little longer.

Best cooling purchase for my indoor cat

I have a Maine coon and he runs very hot. I don’t have much tile in my house so I bought him this, and added it to his bed. He hasn’t left his bed since I put it in there a few hours ago. He would never be in his bed longer than 20 minutes, let alone lay in it all the way. Such a successful buy for what we needed.
