Imagining how age might further enhance the whisky’s distinctive taste, he singled out Cask No. 2668 for an exceptionally long maturation. More than 20 years later, the single malt showcases all the contrasts for which Ardbeg is so loved. With aromas of fennel and coriander and tastes of coffee, leather and smoke, it wonderfully balances peaty power alongside herbal finesse.
