Six Questions Your GYMGUYZ Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this mobile fitness franchise business plan using detailed research into the mobile personal training sector. The model includes pre-populated data for a $49,500 franchise fee, $65,000 van purchase, and 7% royalties, but you can edit every cell to fit your local market. Here is the quick math: with year one revenue projected at $645,000 and EBITDA at $112,000, the unit shows strong early performance.

What is the profitability trajectory?

The unit reaches profitability very quickly, showing a positive EBITDA of $112,000 in the first year. By year five, as you scale the number of certified trainers and corporate contracts, EBITDA is projected to climb to $717,000. This growth is driven by increasing residential training revenue from $250,000 to $550,000 over the five-year period.

Boost Unit Profitability

  • Upsell subscription packages early
  • Optimize trainer route density
  • Secure recurring corporate contracts
[dynamic_pic9]

How much capital is required?

You will need approximately $208,500 to cover the initial launch costs for this mobile fitness franchise. This covers the franchise fee, equipment, and the branded van, plus an initial cash buffer to handle early operating expenses. Honestly, having enough working capital is vital since your lowest cash point hits in May 2026.

Primary Capital Uses

  • Branded Van: $65,000
  • Franchise Fee: $49,500
  • Portable Equipment: $45,000
  • Launch Marketing: $12,000
[dynamic_pic10]

What is the return on investment?

Investors can expect an internal rate of return (IRR) of 6.87% and a return on equity (ROE) of 1.88. The model shows a fast payback period of just 2 years, which is excellent for a service-based model. This mobile personal training franchise profitability guide suggests that the low overhead of a home-based office helps protect these returns.

Key Investor Metrics

  • 2-year payback period
  • 6.87% Internal Rate of Return
  • $717k Year 5 EBITDA
[dynamic_pic11]

What is the break-even point?

The franchise unit hits its break-even date in April 2026, just 4 months after launching operations. The main driver for reaching this point is the rapid ramp-up of residential training sessions and managing the $7,200 total monthly fixed costs. If you can keep your lead trainer and certified trainers busy from day one, you cover your nut faster.

Reach Break-Even Faster

  • Pre-sell packages before launch
  • Minimize van idle time
  • Control fuel and supply waste
[dynamic_pic12]

What is the cash runway?

The lowest cash point occurs in May 2026, where the balance dips to $1,001 before the revenue from corporate wellness and subscriptions fully kicks in. You need to maintain a tight grip on spending during the first 90 days to ensure you don't run out of steam. Still, the cash flow turns positive quickly enough that a massive secondary reserve isn't usually required.

Protect Your Cash

  • Phase trainer hiring carefully
  • Monitor fuel cost fluctuations
  • Automate payment processing early
[dynamic_pic13]

How do scenarios change outcomes?

The high-case scenario assumes better retention on subscription packages, which significantly boosts the year-1 margin and shortens the payback. In a low-case scenario where corporate wellness contracts take longer to sign, your peak cash need might increase, pushing the break-even back by a few months. Analyzing ROI for home-based fitness franchise units requires looking at these volume shifts closely.

Hit the High Case

  • Aggressive local digital marketing
  • High trainer retention rates
  • Strong referral partner network

SO DISSAPOINTED!
Size: Size 4 (104 Count), Color: Donut Grow Up + Cactus Cuties
I am a huge fan of honest diapers and products but i am very DISAPPOINTED in this companies policies. I got a bad batch of diapers, the tabs pulled off of more than 70% of the 104 diapers! I tried to do the right thing and contact the selling company, they sent me to to the manufacturer who eventually sent me back to amazon for a refund. However, since it took so long for me to get email responses from the providing compan and the manufacturer they only gave me a $9 refund from a $45 dollar purchase, which is absolutely garbage! I did everything they asked me to and got SCREWED because of it. I thought this company cared about its customers but they obviously dont. I have been buying honeat diapers for nearly 3 years now, but that changes today, i hope saving $30 was worth giving up a customer who bought diapers for 2 kids for 3 years! What a shame, I wish companies cared more about their customers than they do their bottom line, but that is clearly not the case. Well, with 2 more kids they lost out on at least $5k, I sure hope saving $30 was worth it to them.... What a shame..

Amazing!
Size: Size 3 (120 Count), Color: Space Travel + It's a Pawty
I cannot recommend Honest Diapers enough! After trying several brands, these truly stand out for their comfort, reliability, and eco-conscious design. The fit is snug yet gentle, preventing leaks without leaving red marks on my baby’s skin. What I love most is how soft and breathable they feel—my little one stays dry and comfortable all day and night. The absorbency is outstanding; even after long stretches, there’s no sagging or irritation. I also appreciate the clean ingredients and the fact that they’re free from harsh chemicals, which gives me peace of mind. Plus, the adorable prints are a sweet bonus that makes diaper changes a little more fun. Overall, Honest Diapers deliver exactly what they promise: premium quality, safety, and comfort. They’ve made diapering stress-free for us, and I feel confident knowing I’m making a better choice for both my baby!

Soft and no more break out rashes
Size: Size 5 (84 Count), Color: Wingin' It + Catching Rainbows
Love these diapers! My fourth baby would keep breaking out and no matter what creams we tried it would not get better until we made the switch and it was instant relief and no more bumps. Baby was a lot happier as well! Give them a try you won’t regret it.

They fit small and waistband doesn’t secure
Size: Size 4 (104 Count), Color: Wild Thang + All the Alpacas
I love the prints and I love that they are unscented. We haven’t had any issues with irritation. I have used the wipes from this brand too, and they are awesome. However, these diapers fit pretty small (inaccurate from the weight chart) and are pretty short. They don’t work for long, chunky babies. I wish they would fix the waist band because there needs to be an extra place for the sides to secure onto. The diaper moves really easy (especially the waist band in the front) and we have had several leaks and blowouts. I also think there should be a blowout barrier in the back. I love the idea, I just think there needs to be some small tweaks to make these worth the price because they are pretty expensive.

Best diaper for my family
Size: Size 3 (120 Count), Color: Space Travel + It's a Pawty
I really like theses for my son, they are easy to put on, they hold through the entire night of him peeing(8pm-6am) they are really soft and good quality. The only complaint I have is that my son is able to take off the tabs and he pees through his clothes but I think that’s more of a him issue. But really good value and they are clean and perfect for kinda crunchy moms as i decided on this brand when reading the ingredients in pampers, Huggies, ect. these work the best for my family . Plus they have really cute prints
