Leaving you spellbound in it's androgynous vocal delivery, Spider King's Animals is a haunting children's march that paralyses me with each listen. -Cedric Bixler-Zavala (The Mars Volta, ANTEMASQUE)An unknown pleasure torn out of Manchester's lost DIY manual, this overqualified/underexposed post-punk pop pillar casts an almost invisible web across the history of Manchester's inner-city music scene, trapping appendages of The Mothmen, Martin Hannett, Gerry and the Holograms, John Cooper Clarke, Blue Orchids, Naffi Sandwich (The Naffis), and The Fates in it's glue. As a central mast of Manchester's 1970s/'80s deserted DIY era, spanning angular jazz funk, punk, and sarcastic synthpop, Spider King also played a huge role in Manchester's honorary adoption of The Velvet Underground's Nico (as her lead guitarist), fronted Martin Hannett's first band, and inhabits a key position in the careers of Sad Cafe, Alberto y Lost Trios Paranoias, and Paul Young, not to mention AC/DC's Mancunian debut. With dozens of self-penned songs, unreleased demos, and two of the best collectable Manc punk-funk 45s to grace collectors' want-lists, it's almost unbelievable (even tragic) that Mike King's late-'70s/early-'80s work never saw a full-length release - until now. Shot to Pieces represents one of the most elusive, jagged pieces of Northwest England's punk-funk puzzle, recorded sporadically between 1979 and 1983 with a cast of characters from the Rabid/Absurd label family (such as behind-the-scenes synth-wielder John Scott from Gerry and the Holograms) and producers like Laurie Latham (The Blockheads). Commonly recognized by stalwarts of the era's mutating genres as the one that got away, Spider King is the archetypal artist's artist as well as the outsider's outsider and the hardest-working man in no-business, who is now attracting a whole new audience of champions from bloggers, vinyl nerds, and well-respected contemporary musicians, with his appearances on mixtapes and compilations. On hearing this essential release, one could argue that these lost spider grams are more relevant in 2016 than they were when those arachnophobic A&R men shooed him away decades ago. For those who ain't afraid to get bit, say hello to the Spider King.

Great lightweight fabric, good design
Color: Grey Green, Size: Small, Color: Grey Green, Size: Small
This hoodie is a great athletic top. The size small fits my husband well, although it's a little loose in the arms. So if you have a leaner figure, you may find it a bit baggy. But the fabric is fantastic, a high-quality performance fabric that seems breathable and the UV protection is a great bonus. The sleeves are long enough to make good use of the thumb holes in cooler weather, and the color is a nice neutral, gray-green.
For reference, the size small has a chest of about 42" (measured just under the sleeves) and a center back length of approx. 25".

Great Quality and Look
Color: Grey Green, Size: Medium
21st century materials are here to save us! :) M Maelreg does a great job utilizing those materials to the best of their ability. I've really become a fan of just about anything that they make, and this shirt is no exception. It's made from the very popular 88/12 Poly/spandex blend that has become ubiquitous in the fitness/active industry because of its amazing tensile characteristics- wicking, quick dry, UPF, and extra comfy against the skin. You get all of that here and a no-frills, really beautiful color to go along with a fit that is exactly true to size. I took the more form-fitting version for my 5'10" 175 lb. frame (I've found both L and M work from these guys, M for a more tailored look) and it's exactly right- enough room to move around comfortably and breathe, not so tight that it's hugging my belly. It's super lightweight and really easy to launder (I hang dry mine to prevent pilling and wrinkles), cold/low and a medium/low heat iron to rid those stubborn factory wrinkles and you shouldn't ever need to iron it again. Another great offering from the folks at Maelreg.

Just like the big brands!
Color: Light Dark Blue Grid, Size: 3X-Large
This hoodie is very good quality. I would say it compares to many of the Columbia or Northface type. The only problem that I encountered was that the sleeves are very long, but that might be a me problem because I am pretty short. The hoodie is very lightweight so it can even be worn on semi warm days and really is mostly used as a form of sunblock.
I feel like the sizing is very true to size and if anything there’s a little extra room. The price is just right since it’s much less expensive than the big brands and it holds up after being washed several times. It’s very comfortable and breathes very nicely as well.

Great shirt. My husband is 6’4 and finding off the rack clothes is difficult. This brand has a very good fit. Fabric is light and airy. I recommend this shirt and this brand.
