Crazy Tower est un jeu de stratégie et de dextérité qui propose trois modes de jeu : compétitif, saboteur et solo. Peu importe le mode de jeu, le but est de créer une tour en plaçant des blocs de façon stratégique sur les cartes étages et la partie se termine lorsque la construction s’effondre ou lorsqu’un joueur réussit à placer tous ses blocs.  

Les différents modes de jeu changent la dynamique et la stratégie. Il y a énormément d’interactions entre les joueurs pendant la partie. Des cases d’actions sur les cartes étages telles que rejouer, échanger un bloc ou retirer un bloc de la tour viendront créer des revirements de situation et déstabiliseront la construction rapidement.
