Marbled yellow merino nylon four ply yarn

This is a skein of Merino Nylon yarn, my Acorn base. All my bases are named after parts of plants and trees. It is a pretty yellow with marbling and variation.

It is 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon, Four ply 100g Skeins Approx. 425m

This is a very soft and versatile workhorse yarn. The nylon content makes it strong so it can be used for a huge range of items; socks, shawls, sweaters, hats and gloves.

It has been hand dyed by me in my studio with dyers chamomile grown in my own dye garden to give a soft and warm yellow. 

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain. A little may come off when knitting but this will quickly settle down.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
