Hij heeft een nieuw, zeer lichtgewicht frame met 35mm plunjers voor maximale prestaties.
 
De Sid heeft ook de nieuwe DebonAir+ luchtveerluchtvering, die meer ondersteuning biedt over de hele veerweg, een meer lineaire actie voor meer controle en zeer goed reageert op kleine schokken. Bovendien is hij uitgerust met Maxima Plush-olie en SKF afdichtingen om wrijving te verminderen.
