A stylish belt collection is so underrated in my books. For me it's the accessory that just finishes off any, well thought out, ensemble and is one of those pieces that may not always be the first thing on your mind, but is always just the thing you need, when you don't have one. I find they pair well with practically everything from trousers and skirts to dress, blazers and coats. I love replacing a simple tied waist belt with something that elevates your style and not just silhouette.
It's hard to deny the gorgeous craftsmanship on this leather belt. It needed some oiling up to get the leather feeling well nourished again and I highly recommend continuing to oil it regularly to maintain the best quality and longevity. So much great vintage character and charm. When it comes to most leather, the more worn the better. This item, with the proper care, will patina beautifully over time.
The tortoise shell patterned buckle has some overall surface wear that can be seen in certain angles in the light, but at first glance, for the most part is not that noticeable. I would call this overall, excellent, well-worn, vintage condition.
